About This Competition

This special single malt is inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean. Ethiopia is claimed to be the birthplace of coffee as the Arabica bean was the first species of coffee to be cultivated. ​​

Intense Arabica, the second edition in the Macallan Harmony Collection annual release series, is a special single malt, that exudes flavours of sweet oak, tiramisu and dark chocolate, and provides a delightful whisky and coffee pairing experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first edition inspired by the Cacao bean. This second release is not as well suited to my palate, but it is distinctively different. An easy drinker & perfect for a Macallan inspired tasting flight to savour with pals.
