About This Competition

The big news this week has been the crowning of GlenAllachie 12yr old as the Worlds Best Single Malt. That’s a bottle you can purchase quite easily. Less readily accessible is this 8 yr old single cask specially bottled for the Independent Whisky Bars of Scotland. Fully matured in a PX  Hogshead since 2016, this comes in at a very punchy 61.8%. It’s got all the gooey goodness you’d expect from a very active PX cask . Only 349 bottles were released.
