Swaying off the beaten path for this competition, to bring you another hidden gem from Speyside – Glenlossie. This distillery has rocketed up my favorites chart lately, thanks to some drinking sessions at SMWS with trusted drammers. If you happen to visit an SMWS venue in the near future, do yourself a favour & enquire after some Glenlossie. You will not be disappointed.

This bottle is from Càrn Mòr’s Celebration of the Cask range. Distilled back on Nov 19, 1997 and aged in a hoggy for 20 years. Only 273 bottles produced from this cask. This is bottle #196. If this is anything like some of the other single cask Lossie’s I’ve had, expect your typical fruity speyside profile, but dialled up a few notches…..yum!
