If this bottling is anything to go by, the answer is a resounding ‘yes!’ By skillfully combining PX sherry casks with roasted malt spirit matured in bourbon casks, Ardbeg’s whisky creators have masterminded this exuberant and complex dram.

Eureka! is a special edition bottle to celebrate 25 years of their official fan club – known as ‘The Committee’. First released for exclusive access to committee members, it was briefly made available to the wider public from some of the Ardbeg stockists. This bottle is now sold out everywhere (except maybe the at the distillery on Islay) . Whilst previous committee releases have always been somewhat divisive either in terms of taste or price – it looks like Ardbeg have finally released a cracker which will please absolutely every fan.
