About This Competition
There’s been some cracking blends released of late but this one probably nicks it for best label. The 38 yr age statement should be reason enough for this to stand out, but nothing beats a powerful visual cue & 2 kitties peeking out amongst all your bottles will guarantee you a solid chinwag.
The malt was distilled at an unknown distillery in 1986. Thompson Bros decided to present this unchillfiltered, without added colour, with just the slightest amount of dilution, a tiny 0.7%. The tasting notes include fruit salad, white bloomer, custard creams, gentle woodsmoke, creme de peche, gaia melon & toasted marshmallows. I cant wait to try this !
