We could not think of a better way to celebrate the launch of our website than to have the mother of all giveaways. This aint no April fools joke. We bring you the most hotly anticipated release of 2021 thus far- the Springbank Local Barley !!! Even better, one lucky ducky gets to take this home for absolutely free.

The Local Barley range, features whisky produced with barley from farms local to the distillery. This years release was created with Belgravia barley from Glencraigs Farm. It has been matured in oloroso sherry casks for 10 years. Whilst this is the 6th release in the local barley series, it is the first heavily sherried one. Needless to say, expectations are high, And given its almost chocolatey hue, disappointment seems unlikely.

A favorite among the Springbank faithful, this series has recently become very popular with collectors as well.  Whilst a release of 8,500 bottles might sound like  enough to go around, getting a bottle on release day was near next to impossible. Thankfully, we were in the good books with one of our stockists who kindly reserved a bottle for us.  Auction house data predicts this bottle to fetch in excess of £300.
