I recently joined a whisky club subscription & this was the first dram they sent out. What a banger!
Skene whisky is a wee independent range created by native Highlander Andrew Skene based in Finzean. This 9-yr old Tomatin has been aged in aa extremely active Oloroso sherry cask. On the nose, we’re well into demerara sugar, sticky toffee pudding & sherry soaked plums territory. The palate has a soft rolling spice embedded into a well-rounded sherry mouthfeel, then salted tablet & even more sticky toffee pudding.
I certainly enjoyed this dram & you could too …..for totally FREE….
