About This Competition

UPGRADE ALERT – This prize has been upgraded to the Limited Edition Azuma Makoto edition. The whisky is the same 18 yr old, but you now have the added pleasure of a strikingly florid presentation box by a Japanese artist. All previously purchased tickets will be honored (unless you object, in which case a refund shall be issued). Due to this change the competition closing date has been extended by 1 week.

As is often the case with Glenmorangie expressions, one expects some strange source of inspiration. Given the season, its only apt that our next competition reflected the essence of Autumn, So here we have it – the Glenmorangie 18 yr old ‘Extremely Rare’. Once this whisky has spent fifteen years maturing in American white oak casks a proportion is transferred into Spanish Oloroso casks to spend a further three years maturing. Then, when both elements have reached 18 years, they are ‘married’ back together to create a whisky with a rich bouquet and full, rounded flavour.

Presented in a sturdy gift case and sitting pretty in its elegantly shaped bottle. What’s not to like eh?
