About This Competition

The World Cup is here and a party is guaranteed because Scotland is playing for the first time since 1998. The marketing machine has been in full swing to mark the team’s momentous return to the tournament & there was no way Scotch whisky was gonna be left out. For this competition we have 2 elite 2026 World Cup themed whiskies, both distilled in 1998 but one marginally younger. The winner gets to choose their bottle. So lets take a look at the competitors:

• Glen Garioch 28 yr by Finn Thomson – A classic bourbon barrel beauty. Only 134 bottles at 42.1% abv. RRP £275
• Ben Nevis 27 yr by Master of Malt – Fully matured in a PX sherry cask. Only 129 bottles at 47.5% abv. RRP £250
