On Wednesday 12 August 2026, people in the UK and Ireland will see a partial solar eclipse, when around 90-96% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon. This is as close to a total eclipse as we’ve seen in almost 27 years from the British Isles. And what better way to mark this celestial occurrence than with a bottle of Scotch which one might say has been bottled especially for the occasion.

This SMWS “Solar Eclipse” bottle is an 8 yr old Tullibardine distilled in 2008 & matured in 1st fill Oloroso. It is intense according to the tasting notes & perhaps even more so when sipped at the point of totality. If you are one of those influencer types, you should be able to make some stellar content if you win this!
