We couldn’t possibly close the year out without something from the big honcho. While the wheels might have come off the Macallan gravy train this year, its meant increased accessibility to some terrific independently bottled Macca juice. They still occasionally release some drinkable whisky under their own name & the classic cut is definitely one that seems to buck the trend every year (at least for us grumpy old fans who prefer something in excess of 40%).
