That’s right friends. To celebrate this year’s Halloween we have the one & only – Loch Dhu. This 10 year old whisky from Mannochmore was released back in 1996 & quickly acquired the (unwanted) reputation of being the worst whisky ever made. The reviews on Whiskybase seem to validate this claim with a combined score of just 50 points.

Nevertheless, this Black Death juice has gained a cult following amongst whisky fans.  I mean….if you have the best  in your collection, it only makes sense to have the absolute worst in there as well right? Posteriority , I think they call it …..

A quick google search returns prices in the range of £250 – £400. I highly doubt any of our regulars would shell out such money for a bottle but for a few quid, I reckon it worth a punt to own a piece of history
