Laphroaig has stood as a pillar of Islay’s whisky tradition, renowned for its robust and peaty single malts. Distilled during a particularly frosty January, Elements 2.0 pushes the boundaries of whisky making by extending fermentation beyond the standard 55 hours to an impressive range of up to 115 hours. This unique approach intensifies the whisky’s flavour profile, ushering in a remarkable secondary fermentation process after approximately 65 hours. This stage infuses the spirit with an array of tropical notes while preserving the classic, bold character synonymous with Laphroaig.
