About This Competition

This whisky was voted the Worlds Best Single Malt in 2022 at the World Whiskies Awards.  A rather impressive feat for a distillery which only released its first single malt in 2019. The Whiskymaker’s Reserve No.4 is a supremely balanced and complex single malt whisky, matured in the finest, meticulously sourced Oloroso, PX and red wine casks, and bottled at 52% ABV.

The Whiskymakers Reserve was their first core range series which ended earlier this year with Reserve #7 being the final edition. Unsurprisingly prices for earlier editions have since skyrocketed, with Reserve#1 selling in excess of £800. However, it is only the #4 which has won the accolade of best whisky!  Certainly one worth having in your collection.
