The oldest core expression from Glengyle Distillery, the Kilkerran 16 Year Old, builds on the foundation laid by its younger siblings. This expression deepens the distillery’s characteristic notes of fruit, malt, and brine with additional layers of complexity from extended aging. The interplay of oak, sherry influence, and the distillery’s mineral-rich spirit results in a whisky of exceptional depth and elegance, further cementing Kilkerran’s reputation for producing outstanding single malts.

The 2025 release offers more sherry cask maturation than previous releases, with a cask makeup of 60% Bourbon and 40% Sherry, which is immediately evident in the rich dark colour of this dram.
