About This Competition
A remarkable 16 Year Old whisky celebrating Glengoyne’s partnership with the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT), who’ve supported vital conservation efforts across the UK since 1946. This release follows the first Wetlands Single Cask Whisky launched in 2021 to mark 10 years since the creation of the distillery’s wetlands.
Bottled at 61.1% ABV, the whisky has been crafted from refill Sherry Butt No. 190257, filled in June 2009, chosen to reflect Glengoyne’s environmental credentials. Only 500 specially labeled bottles exist. The label features an illustration by artist Elin Manon depicting the distillery, surrounding wetlands and the iconic Glengoyne geese.
