About This Competition
Another first for the site – a precious Chichibu competition for the first time! This is the 2023 edition of the annual Chichibu London Edition series. These bottles are released every year to celebrate the massive London whisky show. Show attendees get first priority with any leftovers being made available to the public later. Despite being a 2023 edition this bottle was only released a couple of weeks back for the 2024 whisky show.
The ‘monster invasion’ theme continues for a 3rd year running & makes for a very attractive label to match the equally appealing whisky. This expression has been aged for between 5-9 years in a combination of red wine & bourbon casks. There were 1,949 bottles produced at a strength of 51.5% abv.
