The Caol Ila 8-Year-Old Feis Ìle 2025 edition is a bold, limited release that pushes the boundaries of maturation by finishing in rare Colombian Oak casks—Quercus Humboldtii from the Andes. Aged for 1.5 years in these medium-toasted barrels after initial maturation in butts and hogsheads, this experimental wood, with its low tannin content and tight grain, imparts a balanced, nuanced profile in a release limited to just six casks—about 1,680 bottles total.
