About This Competition

Bruichladdich has unveiled the Luxury Redefined series, the brand’s new range of high provenance, age statement whiskies.

The Bruichladdich Eighteen was distilled in 2004 from a combination of Scottish Mainland, Islay, and Organic barley, with each varietal and harvest fully traceable from farm to bottle. The 18 year old unpeated single malt was matured entirely on Islay, primarily in ex-bourbon casks. These bourbon casks, together with a smaller number of Sauternes and Port casks, were vatted and married for nine months before bottling at 50% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring.

This certainly looks the part. The stylish new packaging for the Re/Define bottles is said to be the first of its kind in the whisky industry. The bespoke outer packaging has been made from fully recyclable paper pulp and moulded to the shape of the bottles.
