About This Competition

Ever think of about tasting the 1st whisky ever produced by a distillery? Well, now you can make it a reality!

Presenting – The inaugural release from Aber Falls Distillery in the heart of Snowdonia. Also, the first whisky made in North Wales in over 100 years! With only 2000 bottles released to much fanfare (we heard there were hour long lineups), and now sold out everywhere, this could be a rare chance to bag a collectors item for peanuts. This even ticks the weird but wonderful box since they have used orange wine casks (!?)

What is orange wine? Is this the Welsh Daftmill? Will it pay off your mortgage 20 years down the line?  Will it be the first distillery to go bust due to a massive data breach fine?  We have answers to none of these questions! All we can say is, if you’re into collecting inaugural editions then this comp’s for you.

We are going extra small for this one. Only 30 tickets available. Max 3 tickets per person.  Perhaps this will be our first sell out competition? A small, but notable achievement for the site nonetheless.

* You must be aged over 18 to enter this competition. Under-age entrants will be removed from the competition and will not be reimbursed. Please note – this will include ID checks at delivery.
* All entrants must be U.K residents (excluding Northern Ireland). Any account created from any other country will be deleted and their entry fee will be forfeit.
* Only entrants with the correct answer will be entered into the prize draw. Entrants will incorrect responses will not be entered but will still be charged.
