Managers Dram: Royal Lochnagar

About This Competition

A 10-year-old Royal Lochnagar Highland single malt whisky selected by Diageo’s panel of distillery managers for their Managers Dram bottling in 2006. Managers Drams are always highly sought after, as they are only sold internally to staff and are not available to the general public.

This Royal Lochnagar 10-year-old would have been distilled in the mid-1990s and was the first ever Manager’s Dram cask selected from the distillery, which remains one of the smallest in Diageo’s massive portfolio, so official bottlings are thin on the ground.

This Manager’s Dram Royal Lochnagar 10-year-old came from a European oak cask and was bottled at its rather poky natural cask strength of 57.2% – a drop of water is advised to let it open up properly.
