Fresh off the boat from Islay is this very special Lagavulin available only at the distillery. This is a 12 yr single cask matured for 10 yrs in a bourbon barrel followed by a 2 year finish in Madeira cask. Madeira & Lagavulin isnt something you see very often so this has definitely got that novelty value to it.  Lagavulin only started doing handfills earlier this year for the first time in their illustrious history and they are already on their 3rd cask, so these have been selling well as special mementos of succesful Islay expeditions.
