About This Competition

We do love a good mystery bottle here at M&C. This whisky, from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, was distilled in 2008, and bottled 2021. Officially, its provenance shall remain unknown. Unofficially, this is Not a Macallan 😉

A vatting of three ex-sherry puncheons. Aromas of dark muscovado sugar, black tea, dried figs and apricots, Pedro Ximenez sherry, ground cinnamon and fruitcake fill the nose, complemented by notes of sticky toffee pudding, dark chocolate, raisins, pistachio nuts, orange oil, clove and prunes throughout the palate.

This one’s been getting some rave reviews of late, so if you’ve been gagging to try some quality juice from the distillery which shall no be named, then this is definitely the bottle for you!
